Water Transmission Main Installation Railroad Ave. from Meadow Park to US 36

DEI was awarded the Water Transmission Main Installation Railroad Ave. from Meadow Park to US 36 project from the Town of Lyons. This project is part of the flood recovery process for the Town of Lyons due to the Flood of September 2013. Detailed work includes installing 1,580 l.f. of 12” PVC waterline in 2 different locations & 120 l.f. of 24” boring under US36. Job also includes street maintenance, asphalt patch back, curb & gutter and traffic control.

20th Street Improvements, 74th Avenue to 83rd Avenue

  

DEI was awarded the 20th Street Improvements, 74th Avenue to 83rd Avenue project from the City of Greeley. This project consists roadwork reconstruction along 20th Street including erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, traffic control measures, including temporary pavement and detour, earthwork, excavation, and embankment with excavated “native” and import fill material, and 20,000 CY of import. Work also includes removal of 15,081 s.y. of the existing plant-mix pavement material, removal of existing concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk, within project limits, installation of 11,000 l.f. of concrete curb and gutter, 285 s.y. of curb ramps, 7,889 s.y. of sidewalks, 1,758 s.y of concrete median, 590 s.y. of Concrete Island Splash Block, Pavement surface repair including 16,418 TN of aggregate base course, compaction, and 10,100 TN of hot bituminous pavement. Lowering and raising of waterlines (6”, 24”, 30”) and other miscellaneous water facilities, Storm drain piping 1,598 l.f. of 18” RCP, 1,135 l.f. of 24” RCP, 487 l.f. of 30” RCP, 38’ l.f. of 4’X8’ box culvert, 147’ l.f. 3’x8’ Double Box with wing-walls, sidewalk chases, manholes and inlets.

Weld County Garage Subaru Dealership

DEI was awarded the Weld County Garage Subaru Dealership project from Brinkman Construction. This project consists of over lot grading for building pad and a parking lot for a car dealership. The scope of work also includes structural excavation of footers and backfill, over excavation, fine grading and utilities. The utilities include 600 l.f. of 4”- 8” sanitary service, 744 l.f. of 18” RCP, 456 l.f. of 24” RCP, 820 l.f. of 8” water main, and 4” fire line water service.

West 60th Ave. from Federal Blvd to RTD Gold Line Commuter Rail Station

  

DEI was awarded the West 60th Ave. from Federal Blvd to RTD Gold Line Commuter Rail Station project from the Adams County Board of Commissioners. This project is in conjunction with the RTD expansion of the light rail system throughout metro Denver. Detailed work consists of construction of W. 60th Avenue on new alignment south of the existing roadway. This includes building demolition, grading, installation of 1,000 l.f. of 18” RCP storm sewer, 3,100 tons of asphalt paving, installation of 1,781 s.y. of curb, gutter, and sidewalk, as well as 9,920 c.y. of unclassified excavation. This job will also include street lighting as well as a new traffic signal at the relocated W. 60th Ave. & Federal Boulevard intersection, and landscape.

Tabor Street Reconstruction

  

DEI was awarded the Tabor Street Reconstruction project from the City of Wheat Ridge. This project is in conjunction with the RTD expansion of the light rail system throughout metro Denver. Detailed work includes clearing & grubbing and site demolition, 1000 c.y. of unclassified excavation and 5615 s.y. fine grading, 3500 s.y. of asphalt removal, 1,700 tons of hot mix asphalt paving, 4,400 l.f. of striping, 1,800 l.f. of concrete curb/gutter, 900 s.y. of concrete sidewalk and pavement, erosion control, traffic control, 13 LED pedestrian lights, 750 s.y. of sod and seeding and 17 trees with irrigation, 4 benches and trash cans.

WCR 16 Reconstruction

  

DEI was awarded the Weld County Road 16 Reconstruction project from the City of Fort Lupton. This project consists of constructing approximately 800 l.f. of 12” C900 DR18 PVC water line, 2 fire hydrants, 460 s.y. asphalt, 730 l.f. curb and gutter, 75 s.f. concrete driveway apron. 2700 s.y. 10” concrete roadway, 40 l.f. of 3’ wide concrete pan, 185 l.f. of 2’ wide concrete pan, 100 l.f. 4’ wide cross pan, as well as riprap, grading and seeding.

The Coloradan

  

DEI was awarded The Coloradan project from GE Johnson Construction Company. This project consists of removal & replacement of 4,800 s.f. of 14” thick concrete road, two 6” fire lanes, one 3” domestic water service, 15” storm drain connection, 12” sanitary sewer service.

2015 - General Storm

  

DEI was awarded the 2015 General Storm project from The City and County of Denver. This project consists of two locations, 11th Ave. and Elm Street, /S. Hudson St. and East Pacific Place. Detailed work includes installation of 135 l.f. 15” RCP, 402 l.f. of 18” RCP, 65 l.f. of 24” RCP, 195 l.f. 30” RCP, and 701’ l.f. of 36” RCP, manholes & inlets. Also included 1,165 c.y. unclassified excavation, water lowering, concrete removal and replacement, 53,000 s.y./inch asphalt replacement, 12,000 s.y./inch asphalt rotomill, 250 c.y. riprap.

2016 - Street Paving

  

DEI was awarded the 2016 Street Paving project from the City of Fort Lupton. This project consists of removing and replacing existing concrete curb and gutter, removal of existing concrete sidewalks, 2” milling of the existing asphalt pavement, construction of 360 l.f. of 18” RCP,and 340 l.f. of 14”X24” elliptical pipe storm sewer, 370 l.f. of 8” sanitary sewer line, and 645 l.f. of 8” PVC waterline on 2nd street, 3rd street, 6th street and Hoover Ave. within the City of Ft. Lupton.
